Martensitic stainless steel for high machinability chromium nickel and sulphur with excellent

corrosion resistance, higher than similar Cr grades (i.e. 2083) characterized by excellent

workability derived from the addition of sulphur.

4. Applications

This steel can be used for:

Frame superstructures (e.g. ejector plate)

Components

Mould frames and bolsters

Moulds requiring corrosion resistance and needing extensive machining

Holder is used for plastics or where equipment needs to be stainless steel with excellent

workability and good resistance to corrision and/or the presence of abrasive additives

Annealed HB max 241;

Hardened and Tempered HB 270-320
