4. Applications

This steel is used to construct:

• Dies for the pressure casting of light alloys

• Dies for friction and mechanical presses for hot forming of steel, brass, aluminium and its alloys

• Dies for extrusion of aluminium

• Hot work shear blades

• Moulds for plastic materials
